Winter is one of my favorite times of year and I hope you are enjoying the season too! One of the reasons I love the end of the year is that it gives me the opportunity to show my appreciation for all the great work that happens in our state by making a year-end donation to my favorite social justice organizations.

This last year has been incredible. We’ve been able to grow our membership by over 1,000 new members in just the past 12 months. That’s 1,000 new voters, activists, and fighters for our movement to eliminate poverty in Washington state.
Your year-end gift to Poverty Action is critical in keeping our fight strong. In just one month we will be hosting our annual Lobby Day on Martin Luther King Jr. Day (January 20, 2014). This is a free event that packs the Capitol with advocates on our issues.
