Basic Needs Campaign Lead
Lianna serves as Poverty Action’s Basic Need Campaign Lead. In this role, she develops policy and advocates for solutions to community-identified concerns around public assistance programs including TANF, ABD, and HEN. Lianna is passionate about systematic transformation that is rooted in anti-racism, equity, and justice.
Previously, Lianna has worked to advance change at local and state levels around housing policies and child welfare programs. She also has seven years of experience in case management in programs focused on families experiencing homelessness and working to overcome substance use disorders.
When she isn’t working, you can find Lianna riding her bike, taking a hike, or planning her next trip. She also enjoys connecting with friends and participating in as much dance fitness as possible. Lianna holds a Masters in Social Work from the University of Washington.
