Celeste serves as Poverty Action’s Communications Coordinator, writing and designing content to keep the community up to date and help coordinate action. They are passionate about the rights of all people to be respected, supported and given the tools they need to thrive, and value elevating the stories and needs of those affected by poverty and systemic injustices. They are a 2026 Communities of Opportunity Narrative Change Fellow.
Previously Celeste worked within local agencies as a communications consultant and community liaison, focusing on environmental infrastructure and event coordination. They also bring expertise from five years in public speaking and educational media, running public speaking programs for all ages and curating educational content for clarity and style.
Outside of the office, Celeste is often playing outdoors, working on an arts and crafts project, or planning their latest theme party. They also love exploring the city on foot and writing essays and poetry about the world around them. Celeste received their Bachelor’s degree in Philosophy from Middlebury College.
