Our 2020 Voter Guide is meant to be a resource that will help you make informed voting decisions.
Let’s just say it: 2020 has been unsparingly difficult. A global pandemic, a severe economic downturn, the devastating continued attacks on Black life, raging wildfires and heavy smoke fueled by climate change — the list is long. And yet, in this dark moment in American history, there is still room for hope. On November 3rd, we have a real opportunity to shape our state and country’s pathway out of crisis.
This guide is meant to support your decision-making on who deserves your vote. This year, we have done things a little differently; we have focused this voter guide on our state’s recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic.
This guide focuses on candidates running for office in the parts of the state hit hardest by COVID-19: King County, Snohomish County, Yakima County, and Pierce County. We’ve asked them questions about pandemic response, economic stimulus, and racial justice.
It’s time to organize. It’s time to take action. It’s time to vote.
