2017 MLK Lobby Day

Join Poverty Action at the Capitol!

Registration for MLK Lobby Day is closed!

If you missed the registration window, we invite you to still join us in Olympia and register on the day of the event. However, we may not be able to set up a law-maker meeting or meet your dietary needs.

MLK Lobby Day is an annual day of action at the State Capitol by the members, friends, and supporters of Poverty Action. This powerful day of advocacy, community building, and storytelling shifts the narrative about the causes and impacts of poverty in our communities. The day includes powerful speakers, training on meeting with your legislators, and scheduled appointments with your elected representatives to let them know about your concerns and priorities. Breakfast, lunch, and childcare are provided. Come and make your voice heard!
